Director Treasury & IR - Berlin - Leveraged Finance & IPO

Lead a #treasury and #InvestorRelations team of 5 in a multi-billion fast growing, profitable & global company, working towards an #IPO. #Berlin, €200K base + substantial ST & LT incentives. Experience on the corporate side is a must, as well as a track record as deal captain in #LeveragedFinance transactions. Work experience with a global bank or strategy consultancy highly appreciated.

As a Director Treasury & IR you are an essential partner of the board as our client pursues an aggressive growth & acquisition strategy. Part of this strategy is funding through leveraged finance. You will operate as deal captain and collaborate with well -known global banking partners. Taking a prominent role in the planned IPO is a very likely scenario. Next to your funding tasks, you are in charge of a team of 5 in both treasury and investor relations. 

With your funding experience you not only demonstrate that you have the knowledge in structuring deals and cover the related legal aspects but also that you can enter negotiation processes unafraid of who you are dealing with. Having been involved in an IPO process would be a big plus. On top of this you bring corporate treasury experience, you understand this comes with connecting to colleagues in various business functions and operational tasks. They will easily accept you as a value-bringing expert.

Experience with a Champions League bank in leveraged finance is highly appreciated. Our client might accept candidates with solely this relevant experience on the banking side, combined with the right personality.

Certainly, you are proficient in English, and ideally also in German. You live in or near Berlin or are willing to move there.

Within a relative short time span our client invested billions and established a global market leading  position in a niche of a traditional industry. Their EBITDA is close to 50%, their business relations very strong and their staff of high calibre. The company culture of our client can be described as a mix of the ambitions felt in private equity / global business banks / strategy consultancy on one hand and industrial companies with top notch products on the other. Growth ambitions are clear, as is the appreciation for the corporate treasury function.

Indication of the base salary is €200K, short term incentive lies at 30%, long term incentive is equity related and, especially with the pending IPO, substantial. You are expected to work in Berlin on a regular basis.
