Treasurer Search Newsletter September 2016

The weather, many candidates, clients and some colleagues agree: vacation time is not over yet. We should not forecast, TMS implement and fund. Sunbathing is what we should do…..
Nevertheless we search, call, meet and present. The show will go on. There is much to look forward to: being a guest lecturer at the HU minor treasury management, visit the event of the ATEB (the Belgian sister organisation of DACT) and celebrate the success of treasuryXL with other supporters. In the meantime we will hold on to our vacation feelings.

Remarkable influx non-Dutch in the treasury labour market

In preparation of my guest lecture at minor treasury management of the Hogeschool Utrecht next week I made a quick scan of the treasury labour market and noticed that treasury in The Netherlands, especially in the junior role, is staffed by relatively many internationals. I dug in and have some hypothesises about the why and consequences.
