Treasurer Search Newsletter January 2017
Power in the labour market is shifting again but we are not back in 2007. Around that time candidates had many options and their unrealistic demands were often met. Last month we found new positions for two “Register Treasurers”, our clients were able to get high value for money. In the same month three rather junior candidates asked for salary raises up to 30% for a transfer. The matches were not made and other candidates were recruited. What will 2017 bring?

Treasury Matchmaking Developments
Treasury is often considered “abstract” and “complex” by laymen, although they suspect the function can offer added value. Former bankers, interim managers and treasurers between jobs are able to bring value but cannot find the proper format. With this in mind we started two pilot projects:
“Intern with treasury experience” connects corporates with jobseekers in a no-risk, win-win situation.
The “Flex Treasurer” offers low threshold treasury services to organisations without a treasurer but with treasury exposure.
